TW: sexual assault

Host Alex Smith speaks with Luce Barka, a singer song-writer, coach and facilitator who uses coaching as a way of leading song-writing sessions that help stimulate creative energy and healing.

Music has the power to connect and heal.

Coaching creates space for others to process feelings and solve problems.

So why not put them together to become a better coach, songwriter or even heal wounds from sexual violence?

By integrating coaching tools and approaches, Luce shares how her work helps songwriters to navigate their emotional landscapes more effectively and ultimately, create more meaningful songs – and, in the process, find a path toward healing.

This episode is cathartic, healing and inspiring for survivors and also offers insight to those wishing to develop a greater understanding of what sexual violence survivors go through.
