Breaking Glass Ceilings and other people’s expectations with Luke Kingston

This episode we are joined by Luke, a man whose story is a powerful reminder that your current circumstances do not define your future potential.

Labeled “average” throughout school – never top of the class but never bottom, Luke grew up in West London with a sense that he’d never truly stand out. But rather than settle for the easy paths laid out before him, he chose to rewrite the narrative. At 17, he took up Mixed Martial Arts, sparking a lifelong mission to test the limits of his physical and mental strength.

From running a marathon with no training to completing a 100k ultramarathon, Luke’s story is one of grit, determination, and belief that glass ceilings exist to be shattered. His mantra? Anything is possible if you set your mind to it.

We explore:

  • What it felt like growing up feeling overlooked
  • The power of choosing better when easier paths are available
  • His half-Spanish heritage and love for food, culture, and travel
  • The mindset that carried him through every brutal 25k of the ultramarathon
  • How MOE helped him find who he truly is – and why giving back matters
  • If you’ve ever felt stuck in a box that wasn’t built for you, this conversation will inspire you to break free against other’s expectations of you.

Listen now and remind yourself: you’re capable of more than you think.
