In this episode Alex welcomes Catriona (Cat) Horey, a Leadership and Life Coach with a fabulous portfolio career who did her MOE Certified Coach training in Guernsey.
She shares insights into her personal interests and values, describing herself as a curious and kind individual who finds joy in nature, diversity, and travel. Catriona also discusses the evolution of her practice as a coach with private clients and organisations and her boundaried approach to her working week. She describes how best to help people redefine their priorities and develop their leadership skills whilst also highlighting her flexible approach to doing this online, in person or indeed out in nature!
Alongside her work as a coach she also co-hosts a podcast called Unfurling, where she explores various topics through the lens of the natural world. She has also, over the years, contributed to MOE as a lead trainer, assessor and supervisor.

From her humble beginnings of being a coachee in 2010, when she was working within an organisation- to her journey into how she took the steps to market herself once she had graduated, we are sure you’ll find nuggets of gold you will be able to use to help you in your own pursuit!

Key takeaways:
- It’s important to reflect on how much you bring as a coach by just being yourself.
- The ‘radical diary’ (you’ll have to listen to find out what this is!) and the importance of honouring your time and not just saying yes to everything.
