MOE 2019 – so far, and into the future! Exciting news!

It’s about time we shared news of the exciting developments, in the growth of MOE, so far in 2019!

Here are just a few of the highlights:

700 MOE coaches are now certified, and our aim is to increase that number to 850 by the end of this year, hitting 1000 by the end of 2020!

2 MOE coach training courses have been completed in London in 2019 – thanks to the ongoing support of our corporate partners Mayer Brown and WeWork.

Our 3rd London course is already halfway through with our valued partner – Profusion.

We are also half-way through what we believe is a worlds-first – MOE is running a certified coach training course for a group that consists of prisoners, staff and officers in Guernsey Prison.

Moving West! We’ve completed the first-ever course in Wales – a full-house with all 12 available places filled. Thank you to our partners, The Angel Hotel and The Chapel in Abergavenny. Our next course in Wales is due to start in May. A huge thank you to MOE trainer Joe Daley for making it happen!

A fabulous first-ever course in Jersey is also half-way through, brought to you through a partnership with St. Helier Yacht Club. Once again, we’d like to show our appreciation to MOE trainers for bringing this to life. Thank you Korinne Le Page and Stephanie Bass!

In March, 9 participants attended the first-ever 1-day coaching refresher course in London. We’re looking forward to the next one already!

There is amazing news that Citibank, one of our original corporate supporters, has returned as a partner and will be hosting the next highly-anticipated London course starting in May.

In June, MOE will start delivering the first Bristol course with our new corporate partner ‘Burges Salmon’. We will be working in partnership with the African Prison’s Project (APP) and training five of their new secondees on our accredited coach training course. All five participants will be from the African nations of Kenya, Uganda and Cameroon and the group is made up of a judge, a magistrate, a probation officer (at director level) and 2 prison governors. We feel pleased and privileged to help support these change-makers who will return to their communities and implement what they have learned through the MOE coach training course here in the UK.

Keep your eyes peeled for our first Kent course starting July, scheduled to run in Kings Hill with our new partner the Charities Aid Foundation.

We also have our first Manchester course set to launch in May 2019 and there are a few spaces still available, so if you know anyone who may be interested send them over to our website for further information!

A massive MOE welcome to our new Manchester charity partner ‘Factory Youth Zone’

And that’s just what’s happened so far this year!

Moving forward in 2019, there is a new digital approach on the horizon, and we will shortly be announcing some new Train-the-Trainer days. These usually fill up extremely quickly – so if you’re keen to give back to MOE, whilst taking your coaching skills to the next level, book on as soon as dates are released so as not to miss out!

In addition, watch this space for announcement of an Advanced Coaching Masterclass coming soon, as well as an initiative that’s being spearheaded by one of the participants of the recent refresher course to arrange a regular coaching circle where you can come along and practice your coaching skills whilst socialising with other awesome MOE graduates! Definitely sounds like a winner to us!

Any questions, suggestions, ideas or even contacts to help us connect with new charity partners or corporate partners, or establish new hubs in new locations, please do get in touch.

“At MOE we are all really pleased with the positive impact Tony and Jeffrey are making. It’s great to see that we are re-engaging with old partners, exploring new ones and finding ways to scale MOE hubs in new areas with the support of great community members. All of this means that we are able to share our wonderful programmes with more people, who in-turn make a real contribution to themselves, others and everyone”.

Warm wishes,

Tony and Jeffrey
