
Mental Heath First Aid Certified Course
4th - 5th February and 11th - 12th February 2021
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is a training course which teaches delegates how to identify, understand and help someone who may be experiencing a mental health issue.
You’ll learn to recognise warning signs of mental ill health, and develop the skills and confidence to approach and support someone while keeping yourself safe.
What’s more, you’ll gain an understanding of how to support positive wellbeing and tackle stigma in the world around you.
Delegates will receive a manual, workbook and handy pocket guide once confirmed onto the course. The course is jam-packed with additional, practical resources!

Session 1- Thurs 4th February 10:30-13:00
Session 2- Fri 5th February 10:30-13:00
Session 3- Thurs 11th February 10:30-13:00
Session 4- Fri 12th February 10:30-13:00
Pre course work (please note this is pre-learning and not simply pre-reading. The work needs to be successfully completed as part of the course and for you to receive your certification).
Session 1 pre work – approx. 1hr
Session 2 pre work – approx. 2 hrs
Session 3 pre work – approx. 2 hrs
